Award winning Pullin’s Bakery established 1925 and still proud to be a family business based in the Southwest of England famous for their handmade cakes. The bakery emphasises the use of local ingredients and sustainable packaging, demonstrating a commitment to supporting local communities while minimising its carbon footprint.
Sustainability
From feeding waste from the bakery to their pigs in the back garden in the good old days, to embracing todays modern solutions, sustainability has always been a key focus. In 2023 they installed solar panels saving over 3 tonnes of CO2 emissions in the first month of installation alone. Any food waste is collected once a week to convert into energy reducing carbon footprint and they regularly donate tonnes of bread and cakes to support the local community.
