The Benefits Of Corporate Easter Gifts For Clients & Staff: Leave A Lasting Impression

Now that we’re past the beginning of the year, Easter provides another brilliant opportunity to reward your staff and impress your clients with gorgeous corporate Easter gifts! Gift giving during Easter symbolises growth, new beginnings and the arrival of spring, a great way to subtly tell a client you value the expansion and evolution of your business relationship.

Why do we give gifts during Easter?

As a historically Christian tradition, eggs have typically been gifted over the Easter period to symbolise the rebirth and ascension of Jesus. There are also some accounts of eggs and hares symbolising new life and the spring equinox prior to Christianity, with 8th-century monk Bede naming the month of April (Eosturmōnaþ) after Ēostre, the Germanic goddess of spring and dawn. Later German folklore depicted a March Hare as an egg-laying symbol of fertility – this is likely where the origins of the Easter Bunny comes from!

Fast forwarding many centuries, the first chocolate eggs appeared in the Victorian era, with Cadbury being one of the first companies to make them in 1875, after J. S. Fry & Sons Limited in 1873! The tradition has grown massively since the 1800s, becoming a much loved and common addition to Easter celebrations in the UK. Just as the Victorians saw early Easter eggs as particularly special markers of prestige and indulgence, today’s corporate hampers and gifts carry the same sense of luxury.

What are the benefits of corporate gift giving during Easter?

Whether welcoming new clients and fresh beginnings, or reflecting on the growth of long-standing business relationships, who doesn’t love to receive a tasty Easter egg or thoughtful Easter basket?

Easter marks the perfect opportunity to thank your employees for their hard work during the first quarter of the year, where the recognition of staff is often underprioritised due to busy schedules. It also establishes a natural timeframe to send your clients a special gift in, especially if the last time you did was during the Christmas period.

By acknowledging the end of Q1 and the start of Q2, you are celebrating the achievements of your team and clients so far, as well as fueling the engine for the year ahead! A simple ‘thank you’ gesture can go a long way, by ensuring that every recipient feels appreciated and valued as a new season begins.

The power of corporate hampers

Hampers have always been an excellent way to show just how much you value a client, and are a very simple way to treat a whole team (internal or external). Beautifully packed, presented and considerately chosen, corporate hampers boost morale and can really make the recipient’s day! Encouraging teams to gather, share and celebrate their achievements together is also fantastic for team building in a relaxed and natural setting. Plus, if you’re looking to leave a positive lasting impression, you really can’t go wrong with some chocolatey goodies – a universal language for everybody to enjoy.
